Old Humble Distilling Company to introduce Special Reserve Whiskey at Memorial Day Celebration

The annual Old Humble Distilling Memorial Day party will be held on May 28, 2018 from 11am to 3pm.

• Enjoy tours showing the operation from grain to glass,
• At NOON – Award winning barbeque from the 1484 Front Porch Cookers. A portion of the proceeds from every plate of barbeque will go to the American Cancer Society in memory of Melanie Melancon.
• 1:00PM – Taylor Cantrell and the Kickers will then be performing.
• Local artist Gary Denmon will be displaying his art at the distillery
• The event will be Emceed by local stand-up comedian Gabe Bravo!
• Cocktails made with Old Humble Distilling Company’s award winning Texas Straight Whiskey will be available for only $5.00.

The centerpiece of the afternoon will be the release of the Special Reserve Whiskey!  The Old Humble Distilling Company has taken a portion of their straight whiskey and put it back on oak to give it a deeper, darker, and more mature flavor without the overpowering burn and bite of your typical bourbons.  This new Special Reserve Whiskey will be available to the public for the first time during the party.

The party is free to attend. A plate of barbeque and a cocktail can be reserved for $10 via Eventbrite.  With every paid reservation, Old Humble Distilling will set aside a bottle of the Special Reserve Whiskey and hold it for 30 days or until the reservation is released.
