Have you ever wondering what they are building on West Lake Houston Parkway as you enter Summerwood from the North?
It’s part of what some have called the largest expansion project in the world.
Construction is underway of a tunnel that runs under West Lake Houston Parkway for two 108 inch (9 foot) water pipelines. Once complete the pipelines will deliver water from a new Lake Houston intake pump station to the Northeast Water Purification Plant Expansion Project.
