HOUBBQ is back in Humble!

The 7th annual Houston Barbecue Festival takes place Sunday, April 14th, 2019 from 1-4pm at the Humble Civic Center located at 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy, Humble, TX 77338.

The Houston Barbecue Festival allows barbecue fans from all over the world to sample the best of what Houston has to offer all in one place, for one price!

Houston is well-represented by the likes of Ray’s BBQ Shack, Blood Bros. BBQ, Southern Q, Gatlin’s BBQ, Pizzitola’s Bar-B-Cue, Lenox Bar-B-Que, El Burro & the Bull, and Victorian’s Barbecue.

Classic Central Texas-style barbecue will be represented by CorkScrew BBQ, Killen’s Barbecue, Pinkerton’s BBQ, Roegels Barbecue Co., Harlem Road Texas BBQ, The Pit Room, Spring Creek Barbeque, The Brisket House and Tin Roof BBQ.

Indeed, two of Central Texas’ most famous smoked meat purveyors, Louie Mueller Barbecue and Southside Market & BBQ, will make the trek to Houston for the event.

“New school barbecue” purveyors, who combine classic barbecue techniques with newer ingredients and cooking trends, will be represented by establishments like Beaver’s, Buck’s Barbeque Co, Feges BBQ, and Tejas Chocolate & BBQ.

Rounding out the lineup is Houston’s only Tennessee-style barbecue joint – Fainmous BBQ.

“Houston is the hottest barbecue market in the country” says J.C. Reid, festival co-founder. “There is no other barbecue festival that represents the many and diverse influences that make Texas barbecue great.”

The music headliner will be Folk Family Revival, a four-piece Magnolia, Texas-based band that has gained a reputation for live performances on the festival and event circuit throughout Texas and beyond.

To ensure a quality event for everyone involved, ticket sales are limited. All tickets sold online, in advance. No ticket sales at the gate. Previous festivals have sold out before the day of the event so we encourage guests to buy their tickets early.

PRE-SALE discount tickets of $50 General Admission and $100 VIP are available now for a limited time (regular prices are $60 and $120 respectively). All tickets includes entry into the festival and unlimited sample portions from each barbecue joint. VIP tickets include one drink ticket, T-shirt and entry into the festival one hour early. A bar with craft and national beers will be available
