EMCID’s ‘A Holiday to Remember’ Brings Ice Skating, Santa, and More

Celebrate the Season at EMCID’s ‘A Holiday to Remember’ Dec. 13-22

The East Montgomery County Improvement District’s (EMCID) annual winter festival, A Holiday to Remember, returns December 13-22 with a lineup of family-friendly activities, ice skating, festive shopping, and daily visits from Santa Claus. The outdoor event will take place in the parking lot at 22296 Market Place Dr. in Valley Ranch Town Center, near Goody Goody Liquor and Rogers Premier Suites & Salons.

Visitors can enjoy a mix of covered and open-air activities designed to entertain all ages, including:

  • Ornament-making stations
  • Bounce houses
  • A petting zoo
  • Sleigh rides
  • A play pit filled with snow
  • Stage performances
  • Countless photo opportunities

Holiday Market:
Shop local at the Holiday Market, open both weekends of the festival (Dec. 13-15 and Dec. 20-22). Vendors will offer a variety of unique gifts, including clothing, accessories, home décor, candles, cookies, soaps, pickled items, hair bows, and more.

Classic Car Show:
Car enthusiasts won’t want to miss the popular Classic Car Show, hosted by NC Customs and car expert Holger Butzelar. The show will take place on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission Details:
Wristbands, available for $10, are required for select attractions, including ice skating, the petting zoo, bounce houses, sleigh rides, and the snow pit. Entry to the festival itself is free, as are many activities such as shopping, photos with Santa, stage performances, ornament-making, and enjoying the falling snow.
