The redevelopment of Kings Crossing Shopping Center at the corner of Kingwood Drive and West Lake Houston Parkway could soon bring a new anchor tenant to the area. According to an updated flyer from SDI Realty Advisors, a 23,947-square-foot space at 4303 Kingwood Drive is slated for a Sprouts Farmers Market. This building, which was originally the first H-E-B in Kingwood, is being divided into two spaces, with the remaining 37,133 square feet available for future tenants.
H-E-B originally occupied the full building but relocated across the street to a larger location at 4517 Kingwood Drive, which opened on October 26, 2016. The move allowed for the expansion of their offerings and provided a more modern shopping experience.
As part of the redevelopment, SDI Realty Advisors has filed plans with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) for the space. Details of the project can be viewed here.
We have reached out to both Sprouts Farmers Market and SDI Realty Advisors for confirmation of the new tenant but have not received responses at the time of this article.
Additionally, the plans for the redevelopment show a future restaurant called Sake Bon, which will occupy a 4,228-square-foot space on the opposite side of the new James Avery location.
Stay tuned for updates as this project unfolds.
