With all the buzz around Houston over Lake Houston’s newest restaurant concept Wholesome Kitchen, we decided to sneak in and give you a quick peak before the restaurants grand opening on June 6, 2019.
Wholesome Kitchen is beautifully decorated with a modern, bright feel with marble and brass accents throughout. A perfect date night location, and soon to be a perfect location for business lunches and Sunday brunches.
Chef Theyen Hoang the Executive Chef of Wholesome Kitchen is a graduate of the Culinary Institute Lenotre in Houston, Texas. Chef Hoang is excited about the grand opening of both Wholesome Kitchen and Wholesome Pies on Thursday June 6, 2019. She is equally excited to be a part of Generation Park saying “Ryan McCord (of McCord Development) has a lot a big plans in progress for this area, before long the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, and the Luxury apartments will open with additional retail and restaurant spaces on the first floor of the apartments. Generation Park is sure to become a go to destination in Houston”.
Michael Collins is the owner and operator of both Wholesome Kitchen and Wholesome Pies under the restaurant group name Wholesome Restaurant Group. “We are excited and proud to provide two new unique restaurant concepts serving quality food and beverages in a comfortable environment,” said Collins.

During the first few weeks Wholesome Kitchen will be open starting at 4pm Tuesday through Saturday, Closed on Sunday and Monday. Follow them on Facebook for extended hours, future plans for brunch, and updates to the menu.
