Jean Petillon and Marc Petillon, owners of DGM Services, Inc., recently announced the grand opening of DGM’s newest facility in Houston, TX.
The newest facility, at 18727 Kenswick Drive in Humble, TX, is just minutes away from the two existing Greens Road facilities and less than 2 miles from IAH. Although DGM is well-known for its expertise in handling dangerous goods, some of the fastest growing areas for the company are warehousing, export crating and project crating and this site was designed to meet those growing demands.
The new 21.5 acre site is part of a three-Phase development by DGM.
Phase I is completed and comprises a 150,000 square foot warehouse/office space with 4 acres of concrete laydown yard.
Phase II will consist of another 68,400 square feet of additional warehouse space.
Phase III will add another 150,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Phase II and III are expected to be completed over the next several years.
Dangerous goods and hazmat packing will continue to be handled out of the state-of the-art Hazard Class Warehouse (S1,H2,H3) at 1813 Greens Road. The 70,000 square foot facility also serves as the corporate headquarters for the firm.
The opening completes a busy year of expansion for DGM: the Dallas/Ft. Worth facility opened in December of 2014 and DGM Atlanta was acquired in March of 2015.
DGM is recognized as the global leader in professional packing services, including dangerous goods, general cargo, project cargo and warehousing. In addition, the company offers technical assistance/consultation, classification and dangerous goods training for many of their clients.
